Over forty Janitors, contracted by Integrated Cleaning Services, have stood together and WON a 7% wage increase on current wages, vacation, better benefits, and seniority rights.

Rosa Pineda was one of the Janitors who fought to WIN the union, "That's what joining the union was all about. If we fought this hard for something. It's for better benefits at work and for our families. "

This is a landmark victory for janitors and brewers alike and has inspired Janitors to keep fighting. Janitors like Juan Manuel Patraca who wrote this poem:

We will not give up until our adversaries recognize our labor rights.

By divine, universal human justice, they belong to us.

We will continue denouncing injustices.

By doing that, we will build a better world.

And we will always, always be right.
