We are celebrating a group of Janitors in Portland, Oregon from the Moda Tower who have completed the Green Janitor Education Program. They are added to the already growing number of Janitors that are helping improve a building's green practices.

The Green Janitor Education Program provides education in green building practices such as energy efficiency, waste management, recycling, and much more.

One of the Janitors to complete the program, Adela stated:

“What I have learned here, I can apply at work and at home. I am grateful they took an interest in us, and that counts, because we are essential workers.”

We hope to see more Janitors join Adela and the rest of her co-workers in learning about green practices. We know that Janitors play an essential role in helping to make buildings green.
